About Tatum
Tatum Thurston is a proud Emporia, Kansas native and a dedicated real estate professional with six years of experience specializing in residential properties. With deep roots in the community, she brings valuable local knowledge and a genuine passion for helping people find their place in the Flint Hills.
A 2013 graduate of Emporia High School, where she was involved in the Dance Team and Drumline, Tatum continued her education at Emporia State University and Flint Hills Technical College. She remains actively involved in the community as a member of the Emporia Main Street Hype Team, supporting local businesses and events.
In 2024, Tatum stepped into the role of Marketing Coordinator for RE/MAX EK Real Estate, where she has helped elevate the brokerage’s brand and social media presence. Known for her creativity and collaborative spirit, she assists agents with marketing strategies, professional photography, and high-quality listing videos that help homes stand out.
Her dedication has earned her the Spirit Award twice and Executive Club recognition twice since joining RE/MAX. In 2025, she joined The Premier Team at RE/MAX EK Real Estate, which has since been recognized as one of the top large real estate teams in Kansas.
Outside of real estate, Tatum enjoys attending concerts, playing disc golf, photography, and reading. With a passion for both people and community, she strives to make every real estate experience smooth, memorable, and rewarding.
